About
A turn-based word chain for two to four players. You're handed a starting letter and play a valid English word that begins with it — the letter your word ends on becomes the next player's starting letter.
The twist is that ending letters burn out. Once a letter has been landed on, nobody can end on it again (twice over in three- and four-player games), so the easy exits disappear as the game goes on and the board quietly tightens around everyone.
Scoring rewards more than just finding something that fits: letter values, length beyond four characters, rare letters like J, Q, X and Z, using letters nobody has touched, and streak bonuses for consecutive first-try words. You get one pass for the whole game, and play runs seven rounds each.
How to play
- Two to four players take turns — there's no solo mode. Play on one device, or open an online lobby with a four-digit passcode.
- You're given a starting letter. Play a valid English word of two letters or more that begins with it.
- The letter your word ends on becomes the next player's starting letter.
- Ending letters burn out. Once one has been used — twice in three- and four-player games — nobody can end on it again.
- No repeating a word that has already been played.
- Score on letter values, word length, rare letters, letters nobody else has used, and streaks for consecutive first-try words.
- You get one pass per game. Play runs seven rounds each.
